Meet Nike, a Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef who runs Tarty, a Cape Town-based Patisserie. She recently relocated from Berlin where she worked for many years in fine dining as Head of Pastry.
Tarty‘s all about focusing on the fundamentals and getting them just right. Looking to bring cozy home bakes and a bit of naughty decadence to the food club peeps. Cakes that are a great lunch-box snack, tarts for our family get-togethers or just to enjoy with a relaxed cup of tea.
One of Nike‘s priorities is to bring you the best of ingredients. She uses free-range eggs and butter in her bakes for exceptional taste. As a fellow food club member she came across Gideon Milling Flour which she now uses in all of her products.
